Protestation

I don’t want to go back.

Please don’t make me go back.

I don’t want to go back to work, and stress, and panic, and a horrendous set of exams which I’m probably going fail most of anyway, and an essay deadline, and backache, and worse backache, and food shopping stress, and a messy kitchen, and other people being stressed, and being trapped in my room when I’m having a dip, and end of things sadness, and summertime sadness, and small place claustrophobia, and not having any nice bread ‘cos I won’t have time to get any, and pretentious people irritation, and mitigation forms, and having to leave our house, and not enough time, and finalist goodbyes, and no-one there to just talk to ‘cos they’ll all be working, and doctor’s appointments, and counselling appointments, and what do you do in a relationship during third-yr exams?

You see each other and sit on hills in your 20min break from revision and stuff it all cos your happy for 20mins of a horrible day? What I’d do say you know if I had a realtionship.

When I was in a relationship last year, I revised with her. It made the experience half-way bearable because not only did the work ethic rub off, but when it started to get to me I’d get cheered up by a smiley face drawn on the margin of my notes, or something.

Not so much this year, which sucks.

Yeh, in general this time of year is rubbish. Good luck.

    Right, off to revision!

During my AS levels, M was around on his gap year and when I was starting to panic because of revising we’d go out for lunch or something and it’d just calm me down and give me a bit of perspective. Last year he was coming up to a hundred miles away. Now that’s doubled. If “lunch” sounds like a bad suggestion on the face of it, you know what I’m trying to say.

I hope you do enjoy this term, at least to some extent. It’s sunny, there is therefore propensity for Pimms, and suddenly it becomes a lot easier to concentrate when other people are working hard too, don’t you find? Either way, good luck, and hugs.
    xx

What do you do with a relationship during third year exams? I would like to know, because it’s about two weeks till I’m in that position. Pity my boyfriend, please.
