I was knocking about the internet, as one does of a Sunday evening, researching methods for fitting trousers (as it’s something I’m still way too scared to actually attempt but quite curious about nonetheless) and a series of links led me to stumble upon the following online paper:

Basically, it’s a mathematical approach to the Computer Aided Design process involved in garment manufacture. Maths, programming, and sewing! Three of my favourite things! All combined in one beautiful conglomeration of geekiness!
I rushed upstairs to tell J of my exciting find! He stared at me for a few seconds, lowered his head into his hands slightly, then returned to his newspaper.
